Stakeholders – June 22, 2012

As of 22 June 2012, the following organizations and/or individuals have been identified as potential stakeholders with something to contribute to the development of the Riverview Lands Heritage Conservation Plan. Their input will be sought directly either through one-on-one interviews or the project questionnaire. We have also requested that they distribute participation opportunities through their networks.

Heritage Values

Heritage values are defined as the historic, aesthetic, spiritual, social, cultural, and scientific significance or importance of a place for past, present, or future generations. Values can relate to physical aspects of the place, such as landscapes, trails, spiritual sites, natural species, water features or buildings. They can also be intangible, including stories, memories, traditions, events, language, art, craft or place names.
