Heritage Values

Heritage values are defined as the historic, aesthetic, spiritual, social, cultural, and scientific significance or importance of a place for past, present, or future generations. Values can relate to physical aspects of the place, such as landscapes, trails, spiritual sites, natural species, water features or buildings. They can also be intangible, including stories, memories, traditions, events, language, art, craft or place names.
